Privacy Policy

At TracXpense (developed by Solenyx Studio), we believe that your financial life and friendships are private. We build software that respects your attention and does not monetize your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the bare minimum information required to operate a shared expense ledger:

• Account Identification: When you sign in, we collect your email address solely to send you a 6-digit one-time verification code (OTP). We do not collect or store passwords.
• Profile Name: A display name you provide so friends recognize you in shared accounts.
• Expense Ledger Data: Account names, expense titles, amounts, member split percentages, dates, and recorded settlements that you explicitly enter.
• UPI ID (Optional): If you choose to enter your UPI VPA in profile settings, it is visible only to members of shared accounts you belong to, enabling them to settle up with you directly.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do NOT collect bank account numbers, credit card details, or banking passwords.
• We do NOT track your GPS location.
• We do NOT sell or license your personal or financial data to advertisers, data brokers, or credit bureaus.
• We do NOT embed third-party advertising SDKs or tracking pixels (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google AdMob).

3. How Data Is Used

Your data is used strictly for:

• Maintaining your shared and personal ledger state.
• Computing mathematically correct balance threads ("who owes whom") across your account members.
• Generating cryptographic hash audit chains so members can verify transaction integrity.
• Sending email verification codes to authenticate your device.

4. Data Storage and Security

All network communication between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3. Your expense data is stored in isolated, secure relational databases with encrypted storage.

5. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You have the absolute right to access, export, or delete your account at any time. You can delete your account directly inside the app under Settings → Profile → Delete Account, or submit a request on our Account Deletion page.

Upon account deletion, all personal identifiers are immediately removed or anonymized in compliance with App Store and Google Play data protection guidelines.
