Welcome to TracXpense. By downloading the application, accessing our website, or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Scope of the Service

TracXpense provides mathematical calculation and ledger recording tools to help users track shared and personal expenses. TracXpense is not a bank, payment processor, or financial institution.

When you settle an expense using UPI, payment processing is executed directly by third-party UPI applications (e.g. Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or your bank). TracXpense does not hold, custody, or transmit money between users.

2. Account Creation & Security

You are responsible for maintaining control of the email address used to sign in to TracXpense. You agree not to use the service for fraudulent activities, money laundering, harassment, or unlawful transactions.

3. Mathematical Calculations & Disclaimer

While TracXpense uses integer minor units and cryptographic hash chains to ensure mathematical integrity, expense figures represent information manually input by group members. You are responsible for verifying agreements made with your friends and flatmates.

4. Free Tier & Fair Use

The core expense splitting loop (logging expenses, custom splits, invitations, and settling balances via UPI) is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse our API infrastructure, send automated spam invite requests, or engage in malicious behavior.

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions (TracXpense Pro)

TracXpense offers optional premium subscriptions and purchases ("TracXpense Pro") to unlock advanced capabilities such as Splitwise 1-click migration, unlimited active shared groups, deep spending analytics, and custom themes:

• Billing & Payment: Payments are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your store account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions (Monthly or Annual) automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
• Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time via your Apple App Store or Google Play Console account settings. Cancelling a subscription leaves Pro active until the end of your prepaid billing period.
• Lifetime Pass: The Lifetime Pass is a non-consumable one-time purchase granting ongoing access to TracXpense Pro for the life of the account without recurring charges.
• Refunds: Refund requests are governed by the respective policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Solenyx Studio and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.

7. Modifications to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of TracXpense after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
